Use the record to make a shortlist

Compare 'Brontosaurus' with plants that share its recorded leaf color or size group. Check the exact cultivar name on a nursery label and ask for the expected mature spread before choosing a planting distance.

Light and hardiness are left unassigned when no cultivar-specific source has been checked. The general care guide explains hosta growing conditions, but it does not replace the requirements of an individual plant.
